My daughter is 10 years old and in 5th grade. She does her homework and I check it every night. The problem lies at school shes not turning in the homework. This I don’t understand if she is wasting the time doing it, it only takes 5 secs to walk to the teachers desk and turn it in, right? When she is assured that its all correct. When asked what the problem is, she says she didn’t have time or she doesn’t know why she didn’t turn in assignments in. How do I get her to be more motivated. Taking things away from her as punishment for slipping grades has not helped. This has only started this school year. The years before she was getting all A’s and B’s. Now its declining to C’s and D’s. I go talk to the teacher today but I feel its her responsibility .

I’m 14 years old, and I’m moving into a new house. It’s still being buit right now, but we’ll move in next month. Me and my sister convinced my parents to give us the guest bedroom as our music room. I play electric guitar (and hopefully acoustic one day), flute, piano, and I have a keyboard, too. And my sister’s gonna get a drumset and she plays french horn. So that room will be used to play our instruments and stuff. I was just wondering what you think would be a cute layout of the room. The main objects would be the drumset, piano, and keyboard.
