I’m not the maid of honor, and I know it’s usually her duty to plan this kind of event, BUT the wedding is in 3 weeks, and I’ve gotta put this together becuase I won’t let my friend NOT have one. Long story short, I have very little money to work with. I’ve got 6 girls potentially coming to this thing. I was thinking of getting a cheap hotel room and decorating it and playing games or something. First off, does it HAVE to be a surprise? Can I get input from the bride on this? Secondly, what are some inexpensive, fun ideas? I want to play some bridal themed games- again nothing requiring alot of money. I’d like to do some sort of a theme party, but the bride expressed interest in going out to a bar. How do I organize this QUICK with very little money?! Please help me, I need you guys!!!!

I am a single mother I have two kids a boy, 3 and a girl, 2 and they are both out of control!!!!! My son, Alex is biting, kicking hitting and spitting in his sisters face and then puling her to the ground my her hair when my daughter, Trinity, slaps him back he will push her to the ground and punch her in the face and sometimes he holds her there by her neck. And If I don’t get Trinity what she wants she holds her breath until she turns purple or she bites me and i used to have an glass vase on top of my desk but i wouldnt listen to her so while I was in the bathroom with Alex she decided to climb on top of my desk and break it. and when they are mad, they both scream @ the top of they’re lungs until they both throw up and when I put them to bed, they get out and fight again or they strip off there clothes and run about the house. I love them to death but this is getting ridiculas!!! What do I do??!
Ive tried spanking them , putting them in there room, and taking toys away! nothind helps!!!!

I know I have asked a million times already but my 4 year old’s birthday is 2 weeks away, and I am all over the place.

My daughter says that she wants to have a party at home where she can eat pizza cake and ice cream and then have everyone head over to her room to play.

The thing is I live in an apartment so there is not a lot of running around or jumping that can be done.

I had a plan to have the kids come over for an hour or so, decorate cupcakes, play with the toys, eat pizza and cake, and get goodie bags and go, but most of all the parents I have asked on here says that party sounds drab.

I have never thrown a kid’s party just for kids, it has always been family.

Is it best for me to have a party at home or a facility?

I found a place called Gymboree, a big gym, they do acivities with the kids and they do dinosaur themes, and she loves dinosuars they cost 0 for 16 kids at an hour and a half and they only serve cupcakes and juice.

Does this idea sound good?

San Diego Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson shares this project of a kids room remodel incorporates the use of random space above our clients garage that she wanted made into a bonus/game room for her grandsons ages 3 to 12. We made the most of the available space by adding a pool table, ping pong table, computer work station, plasma screen TV, X-BOX, DVD player, Electronic dart board, and even space for sleepovers with a futon sofa. Plenty of toy ad game storage was added and LOTS of fun colors!

The prez says we have to fight on, and we need more troops for sure. But why don’t his kids sign up? I mean, even HE could guarantee them some cushy desk jobs.
