Room design help!!!!! *easy 20 points*?
Im a 14 year olf guy and i need help deciding how to decorate my room,
I can get anything from ikea
i already have this

The desk is the exact color as it is in the picture, I have A window on the back wall and a small closet next to the door

and i have brown carpeting (im not that concerned in the floor matches tho)

i also have a guinea pig cage thats yellow and white
I have a white board and a corkboard already along with a desk chair…
the guinea pig cage cannot be changed really because of its size
You don’t say what colour you have for your desk, so that will make a difference on the colour of your bed to get..let us know what colour your walls are, your floor is, and the colour of your desk top and we will be glad to help you! I will check back.
Excellent..thanks for the extra info..great colours to start with..get the bed in the birch like your desk..a navy comforter or duvet cover would be great and match up with the birch and your flooring, navy curtains, you can get a navy chair for your desk and use yellow that you said you like for accents..pillows…then you can get great organizers at ikea to give your room a mature look..they come in many colours and designs that you can chose from..I like the black ones that will look great in any room..get a brushed nickel look lamp for your desk and bedside table if you decide on one (keep it same birch colour)…which will match the legs of your desk..your desk accessories can be in brushed silver or chrome too which will look great..take some pictures of your friends and family or nature or pets..whatever you might like, and put them in some black frames..you can do the pics in colour or black and white..you can get cheap frames from ikea or even the dollar store..your room will look great..hope some of this helps you be happy with your room.

This is how i would decorate first buy the bed if there’s any windows in your room then put the bed’s headboard underneath the window then if you have a shelf then put the desk underneath it then buy a bean bag and idk thats all ….

As for your room you can get bedding like this:

You can paint one wall with the black chalk board paint, put your desk up against that wall, that way you can write things you need to do or just draw when you’re bored. And maybe have a rug like this http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40100451 . Maybe get a chair like this http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30120077
then find shelving and a TV stand you like, make sure all your accessories, like your lamps, window coverings, pillows, blankets, ect compliment the bedding you choose, just pull colors out of the fabric. Also make sure you choose a wall color that compliments your bedding, if you choose the bedding I showed you I’d go with the beige since I would do the one wall with the chalk board paint. If the other walls are a dark color, like navy, it would make your room seem smaller.

It is hard to help someone when you can’t see a room but think of
these two colors with your brown carpet. one is beige walls with
beige and brown matching drapes. Use an accent color that you like.
The other color that is out of this world with brown and no one thinks
of is Red. Yes red it really looks great.
You’re definitely going to need some color, maybe its a awesome yellow swivel chair for your desk, or just painting the walls all yellow. Next you should add a bookshelf, for stuff like books, and things you wanna save. A side table can hold your guinea pig, and the book you are reading, plus a colorful lamp. Howabout a corkboard or whiteboard to help you remember stuff? If money’s not an option, then what about those awesome massager things that you get a Brookstone? An ipod dock, and all ur little junk can be accessories to go one your desk or somewhere. if you need more storage, why dont you get big colorful boxes that are fashionable and put them under your desk or in your closet. hope this helps!
